Manchester City have been found guilty of 114 of the 115 charges brought against the club by the Premier League over alleged financial rule breaches.
The verdict was reached by an independent commission following a lengthy investigation into the club’s finances covering the period between 2009 and 2018.
The charges include allegations relating to the provision of accurate financial information, player and manager payments, UEFA financial regulations, Premier League profitability and sustainability rules, and failure to cooperate with the league’s investigation.

Manchester City have consistently denied wrongdoing and maintained that they complied with the relevant regulations.
Despite the verdict, no punishment has been announced yet. The sanctions will be determined separately, while Manchester City are expected to appeal the findings.
The case could therefore continue for some time, with the eventual punishment and outcome of any appeal still to be determined.
