Cristiano Ronaldo has left Portugal’s training camp in Copenhagen amid growing speculation over tensions with head coach Jorge Jesus.
The 41-year-old Portugal captain left the training venue on Wednesday, September 30, shortly after Jesus told reporters that Ronaldo would train with the team.
Ronaldo has not trained with the squad since Portugal’s 2-1 Nations League win over Norway on Sunday. He had been carrying out separate gym sessions.

Portuguese media reported that Ronaldo was unhappy after remaining on the bench for the entire match against Norway, despite warming up during the game.
Jesus has denied any rift with Ronaldo, while the Portuguese Football Federation confirmed the player’s absence from training without giving a reason.
Ronaldo’s departure comes just a day before Portugal’s Nations League clash with Denmark.
Earlier this month, Ronaldo said he had considered retiring from international football after the 2026 World Cup but decided to continue after discussions with the federation president and coach.
