Dr. Yemi Olayinka has congratulated Hon. Sola Fatoba following his victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I.
Olayinka, who contested in the primary, said he accepts the outcome of the election and remains committed to the party’s success.

In a statement issued on Sunday in Ado-Ekiti, he described the exercise as peaceful and well contested. He also praised other aspirants for their participation.
“I congratulate Hon. Sola Fatoba on his victory in the primary election. I also commend other contestants, especially Architect Tope Ogunleye and Hon. Sunday Ola. You are all heroes,” he said.
Olayinka also applauded the people of Ekiti Central Senatorial District for their support for Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, during his unopposed primary.

He noted that Bamidele has continued to make meaningful contributions at the National Assembly and deserves continued backing.
Calling for unity after the primary, Olayinka urged APC members to shift focus to the June 20 governorship election.
“Now is the time to put the primary behind us and work together for our party’s victory. I believe in democracy, our party, and our collective strength,” he added.
He thanked President Bola Tinubu, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, and APC national leaders for overseeing a peaceful primary process.
Olayinka also pledged his support for Governor Oyebanji ahead of the governorship election.
