Governor Biodun Oyebanji has been confirmed as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2026 Ekiti election after a consensus affirmation held Monday at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, Ado-Ekiti.

The exercise, supervised by a committee led by Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, saw 885 delegates endorse Oyebanji following the withdrawal of the only other aspirant, Mrs Atinuke Omolayo.
