Fear Grips EKSU Community After Night Raid on Hostels

Students of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, were thrown into panic late Monday night after suspected gunmen raided hostels within the university environment.

The attack forced many students to flee their rooms for safety, as fear spread across the campus community.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Command, Abutu Sunday, said one suspect had been arrested in connection with the raid.

He added that investigations were ongoing to track down other members of the gang.

The development has renewed concerns over the safety of students living in private hostels around the university area.
