An unidentified man has been found dead by the roadside near Tosin Aluko’s Garage along Ajilosun in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
The body was discovered in the early hours of the day after residents noticed it lying motionless by the roadside. Eyewitnesses said the deceased appeared to have been tied, raising suspicions that he may have been beaten and restrained before his death.
Sources at the scene suggested the circumstances pointed to a possible act of punishment, though details surrounding the incident remain unclear and unverified.
Operatives of the Ekiti State Police Command later arrived, cordoned off the area, and evacuated the body in a patrol vehicle for preliminary investigations.
