The Economic and Financial Crime Commission have arrested popular cross dresser, Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky
Confirming the report to Journalists, Dele Oyewale, the spokesperson of the Commission said Bobrisky was arrested for currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira
“He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos state”, he siad.
He also added that Bobrisky will be charged in court as soon as possible
It should be recalled that Bobrisky has been in the news for various controversial reasons including winning the “Best Dressed Female” Award at a movie premiere on March 25, 2024, a development that irked many entertainers.
However, the Force Spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi recently said there is no provision in the law suggesting that crossdressers in Nigeria should be arrested.
