Saka Names Ice Prince’s ‘Oleku’ as Childhood Favourite

Bukayo Saka has revealed that “Oleku” by Ice Prince featuring Brymo was his favourite Nigerian song while growing up.

The Arsenal F.C. winger shared the nostalgic detail during a chat with British actor Daniel Kaluuya, describing the track as a “banger” and urging fans to revisit it.

Saka’s revelation comes shortly after he signed a new contract keeping him at Arsenal until 2031. The England international, whose parents emigrated from Nigeria, has consistently expressed pride in his Yoruba heritage despite choosing to represent the Three Lions at senior level.

Born to parents from Kwara and Ogun states, Saka has maintained close ties to Nigeria through family visits and philanthropic efforts, reinforcing his connection to his roots.
