Tinubu Secures APC Presidential Nomination Form Ahead of 2027 Polls

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, setting the stage for his anticipated bid in the 2027 general elections.

The forms were collected on Tuesday by James Faleke, a member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, acting on behalf of the president. Faleke also collected forms for Obafemi Hamzat, the APC consensus candidate in Lagos State.

The party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, presented the forms after confirmation of a N100 million payment covering both the nomination and expression of interest fees.

According to the electoral timetable, presidential and National Assembly elections are scheduled for February 20, 2027, while governorship and state assembly elections will follow on March 6, 2027.
