Amaechi Rejects ADC Primary Results as Atiku Leads

Former Rivers State Governor and ADC presidential aspirant, Rotimi Amaechi, has rejected the party’s presidential primary results, describing them as “concocted” over alleged voter disenfranchisement.

Amaechi, who contested alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and economist Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, said the process was neither free nor fair.

Hayatu-Deen also boycotted the final collation, citing alleged irregularities.

Despite the protests, collation continued in Abuja with Atiku leading in most states announced so far, while Amaechi reportedly won only Akwa Ibom and Ebonyi.

The ADC, through spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi, urged aggrieved aspirants to use internal party mechanisms to address complaints.
