Drama at Ekiti APC Secretariat as Party Allegedly Hoards Assembly Nomination Forms

Tension erupted at the Ekiti State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado-Ekiti following allegations that nomination forms for aspirants contesting the Ekiti State House of Assembly election were being hoarded.

Some aggrieved aspirants accused party officials of deliberately hoarding forms already paid for, alleging the move was aimed at favouring preferred candidates across constituencies.

The aspirants also questioned why the party allegedly requested the return of the forms on the same day collection was expected to close.

However, after hours of confrontation between the affected aspirants and party officials, the issue was reportedly resolved, with assurances that nomination forms would be released to all aspirants.
