Xenophobia: OAP Dotun Urges Nigerians to Boycott Tyla’s Lagos Concert

OAP Dotun has called on Nigerians to boycott South African singer Tyla’s scheduled concert in Lagos, citing renewed xenophobic attacks against Nigerians and other African nationals in South Africa.

Tyla recently announced dates for her world tour, including a Lagos concert scheduled for December 22.

Reacting to the development, Dotun joined calls for Nigerians to shun the event, arguing that the recent attacks in South Africa should influence the decision to attend the concert.

He said Nigerians who attend the concert despite the situation would be “bastards.”

His comments come amid renewed concerns over xenophobic attacks targeting Nigerians and other African nationals in South Africa.
