NDLEA Uncovers Illegal Meth Lab in Oyo, Arrests Mexican National and Four Others

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has uncovered another clandestine methamphetamine production facility concealed within a forest in Oyo State.

The operation led to the arrest of a Mexican national and four other suspects, while illicit drugs and production materials valued at billions of naira were recovered.

NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (retd.), said the agency remains committed to tracking down drug trafficking networks and dismantling their operations, regardless of where they are located.

He warned that the agency would continue to intensify efforts against illicit drug production and trafficking across the country.
