The Independent National Electoral Commission has called on registered voters in Ekiti State to collect their Permanent Voter Cards as a statewide distribution exercise begins on June 2.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ekiti State, Dr. Bunmi Omoseyindemi, said PVC collection would take place at registration areas and wards across the state from June 2 to June 8, before moving to local government offices from June 9 to June 11.

INEC urged all eligible voters who have yet to collect their cards to do so within the stipulated period, stressing that the PVC remains a vital tool for participating in the electoral process.

The commission also appealed to community leaders, youth groups and other stakeholders to help raise awareness and encourage voter participation, reaffirming its commitment to credible, transparent and inclusive elections.
