A member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Akeem Jamiu, and Boluwatife Fayose, son of former Governor Ayodele Fayose, have declared support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election bid ahead of the 2026 governorship poll.
Speaking during Oyebanji’s campaign tour of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government, Jamiu said the governor deserves a second term to consolidate ongoing projects across the state.
He cited road construction, hospital renovations, school rehabilitation, and the ring road project as evidence of the administration’s performance.
Boluwatife Fayose also described Oyebanji as a unifying leader, saying his inclusive leadership has strengthened peace and political stability in Ekiti.
Both expressed confidence in the governor’s chances in the election.
