Texas Woman Sues Tesla After Cybertruck Crash Linked to Self-Driving System

A woman in Texas has sued Tesla after her Cybertruck crashed while using its Full Self-Driving (FSD) system.

The driver, Justine Saint Amour, said the vehicle sped up on a Houston overpass in August 2025 and failed to slow down.

Dashcam footage reportedly shows the truck passing through traffic cones at a road split before hitting a concrete barrier.

She said she tried to disengage the system but had little time to react, leaving her with neck, back, and wrist injuries.

The lawsuit alleges Tesla overstated the capabilities of its self-driving technology and questions its reliance on cameras over additional sensors.

The case is expected to intensify scrutiny over the safety and limits of autonomous driving systems.
