Suspected Herders Kill 3 At Uikpam Village, Guma LGA Of Benue.

Three persons were again killed in last night’s attack on Uikpam community of Mbabai Council Ward of Guma LGA in Benue state, twenty four hours after three others were killed in Yelewata within the same local government

Speaking with newsmen, Mister Jimmin Geoffrey says, the discovery of the corps of Iorhemba Ikpanju, an elderly man from the community on Wednesday morning, bringing the casualty figures to three following the killing of Mister Akeh Kelvin and Francis Nomsoor last night

According to the Mister Jimmin, ” the discovery of the body of Baba Iorhemba Ikpanju at a nearby bush this morning, brings the total casualty figures to three, following the death of Mister Akeh Kelvin and Francis Nomsoor last night when herdsmen attack Uikpam community “.

” We again call on concerned authorities to make haste by redeploying security to Uikpam in order to at least, repose some level of confidence in the already traumatized residents”.

As usual, the police authority in Benue state remain silent on these killings as every media enquires are met with non response. However, the Guma local government chairman, Mister Maurice Orwough has since mobilized security forces to the area.
