Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State and his Chief of Staff were involved in a fatal accident along the Katsina-Daura road.
Governor Radda and his Chief of Staff Abdulkadir Nasir were driving back to Katsina from Daura when a private vehicle they were in, colluded with a commercial vehicle.
Details are still scratchy about the level of injuries sustained as they are still receiving medical attention at the Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina.
The occupants of the commercial vehicle are said to be in a critical condition.
