Tottenham Hotspur Ends 17 Year Trophy Drought, Defeats Manchester United In Europa Final

Tottenham Hotspur have defeated Manchester United in the Europa League final to claim their first trophy in 17 years

Brennan Johnson gave Spurs the lead in the 42nd minute of the game which was enough to ensure his team came out of the game victorious

Both teams came into the game looking to redeem themselves of a woeful season in the Premier League as both team are guaranteed to finish in not more than 14th position in the league

Tottenham victory means they will be granted automatic qualification to the Champions League next season despite having one of thier worst seasons ever in the Premier League

Manchester United on the other hand will not be participating in any European competition next season as they endure their worst ever finish in a season languishing in 16th position in the Premier League
