Staffs of The Nigerian Metreological Agency (NIMET) at The Malam Aminu Kano international airport have embarked on an Indefinite strike over poor salaries and working conditions.
The staffs who Picketted entrance to their offices carrying placards with various inscriptions alleged that they are the least paid among federal employees working at the Airport.
They also called on the federal government to pay them the backlog of allowances as well as upgrad their working tools
The NIMET staff however warned that airlines flying to or from the while the strike last are doing so at their own risk
