The Nigeria national football team have been drawn in Group L of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers alongside Madagascar national football team, Tanzania national football team and Guinea-Bissau national football team.
The draw was held on Tuesday in Cairo, with former Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong serving as one of the assistants.
A total of 48 teams will compete in the qualifiers, with 24 nations advancing to the tournament, which will be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from June 19 to July 17, 2027.
Because Tanzania qualified automatically as co-hosts, only the group winners will secure qualification from Group L.
Elsewhere, defending champions Ivory Coast national football team were drawn with Ghana national football team, Gambia national football team and Somalia national football team in Group C.
The qualifying series begins in September 2026, with the final round of matches scheduled for March 2027.
