JUST IN: Soldiers Stop FCT Minister Nyesom Wike from Inspecting Land in Abuja

Tension erupted in Abuja on Tuesday as soldiers reportedly prevented the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, from inspecting a disputed parcel of land within the city.

Details of the confrontation remain unclear, but eyewitnesses said the minister’s convoy was stopped by military personnel who insisted he could not access the site pending “further directives.”

Security sources said discussions are ongoing between the FCT Administration and the Nigerian Army to resolve the matter.

No official statement has yet been issued by the Ministers office as of the time of filing this report
