A non-gov organization, Hand of Grace Charity Kitchen initiative has once again distributed food items to over 500 indegent of Ijero-Ekiti.
The initiative aimed at assisting the less privileged, the elderly and the vulnerable ones in the society by providing food items during this yultide period.
The food items includes of Rice, Beans, Garri, among other items.
The CEOs Hand of Grace Kitchen initiative , Bolanle Oladunjoye & Bolarinwa Abayomi while speaking to Gmartnews correspondence shared the inspiration behind the initiative.
According to her, the spirit of giving was passed on to her by late father, Mr Michael Adeola Oladunjoye.
“Giving has always been a part of me; I think it runs in the family. My Dad gives to the less privileged every 2 weeks, and my mother is a giver also, but as for me, I prioritize people’s well-being.” She said.
Despite the tension on ground following the recent stampedes witnessed in some parts of the country, people turned up in their large numbers, gathered and waited patiently as their names where being called out to receive their food items.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Hand of Grace, for putting smiles on the faces of the elderlies, vulnerable people in Ijero Ekiti.
It was peaceful and well coordinated programe by Hand Of Grace Kitchen initiative..
