Vice President Kashim Shettima departed Abuja on Wednesday for Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to participate in the opening ceremony of the International Exhibition of Extractive and Energy Resources (SIREXE) 2024 conference.
Scheduled from November 27 to December 2 at the Abidjan Exhibition Centre, the event focuses on “Policies and Strategy for the Sustainable Development of the Extractive and Energy Industries.”
Shettima’s visit comes at the invitation of Côte d’Ivoire’s Vice President Tiémoko Meyliet Koné. He is expected to share Nigeria’s experiences in hydrocarbon exploration during the conference and will return to Abuja later today.
