Ukraine president, Volodymyr Zelensky have called for a truce to end the 3 year war with Russia following Donald Trump’s order to halt U.S military aid to Ukraine
Zelensky stated in a post on X that Ukraine is willing to put an end to the war under the strong leadership of Donald Trump and the United State as a whole
He said Ukraine was ready to agree to a “truce in the sky to ban missiles, long-ranged drones, bombs on energy and other civilian infrastructure and also truce in the sea immediately, if Russia will do the same.”
“Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians. My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to get a peace that lasts,” Zelensky stated on X
