Tinubu Starts Two-Week Leave, Sets Course for the UK

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, is departing for the United Kingdom today to commence a two-week vacation as part of his annual leave. This announcement was made in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on Wednesday.

Onanuga announced that President Tinubu will leave Abuja today for the UK to begin his annual leave. He added that the president plans to use the two-week period as a working vacation to focus on his government’s economic reforms.

Onanuga also stated that Tinubu is expected to return to the country at the end of his leave.

The statement says: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.

“He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.

“He will return to the country after the leave expires.”
