Two female students at Ogun State’s Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) have been raped and robbed.
According to Ogun Police Command Spokesperson Omolola Odutola, the incident happened on Monday night at approximately ten o’clock at night.
She claimed that the victims had been admitted to the hospital and that the incident had been reported to the Ogun State Police Command’s Igbeba Division.
According to Odutola, the robbers broke through a netted window to gain entry into the off-campus flat where the victims (names withheld) lived.
“The victims were robbed of their phones and an undisclosed amount through a POS transaction at gunpoint,” she said.
“Subsequently, the robbers took the girls to an uncompleted building opposite their home where they took turns to rape them.
“Once the ladies are discharged from the hospital, they will be questioned and further investigation will begin
