Two men suspected to be herders have slaughtered a 16-year old teenage girl in Ekiti state after denying them access to rape her.
According to reports, the girl (name withheld) went to farm with her brother in Emure Ekiti, Emure Local Government Area of Ekiti State and blocked on the road by the suspected herders.
Her brother was said to escape but his younger sister was held grip by the suspects before finally killing her.
Meanwhile, two individuals linked to the dastardly act have been arrested.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of Ekiti State Police Command, SP Sunday Abutu confirmed the incident, adding that he would give details later.
