The Super Eagles of Nigeria has dropped again in the latest FIFA rankings as a result of their poor performances in the 2026 world cup qualifiers.
The 3-time African champions were in the top 20 of the World rankings after the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
According to the latest rankings released on Thursday, Super Eagles of Nigeria has dropped to the 39th position but maintained its 5th position on the continent with Morocco, Senegal, and Egypt retaining their position as the top 3.
