Refrees To Award Corner Kicks Against Goalkeepers For Time Wasting

The International Football Association Board have announced a new rule approved for goalkeepers from next season

The rule implies that If a goalkeeper holds the ball for more than 8 seconds, the referee will award a corner kick to the opposing team in order to reduce time wasting during games by goal keepers

This rule has been approved for next season by The International Football Association Board (IFAB) leaving teams and goalkeepers with such time wasting antics to source for other means to influence game time
