Supporters of the lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, have gathered at the National Assembly Complex to stage a protest in support of their senator who accused the senate president of Maligning and sexual harassment
The protesters had converged on the national assembly gate before the resumption of the plenary and hearing of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petition on scheduled for today.
Last friday, Akpoti-Uduaghan had in a live TV interview accused the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, of maligning her in the Senate after she refused to give into his sexual advances.
The matter has been referred to the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petition.
