President-elect, Trump Vows to End Transgender Policies and Combat Migrant Crime on First Day in Office

President-elect Donald Trump vowed on Sunday to “stop the transgender lunacy” from his first day in office, as Republicans prepare to take control of both Congress and the White House.

Speaking at an event for young conservatives in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump pledged to sign executive orders aimed at ending gender-affirming care for minors, removing transgender individuals from the military, and ensuring that only two genders male and female are recognized by the U.S. government.

He also promised to implement measures against “migrant crime,” designate drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, and restore U.S. control over the Panama Canal.

Trump’s remarks come amid ongoing political debates over transgender rights and related policies across the country.
