A non governmental organization; Olive grange foundation for children and community empowerment, has called on government and individuals to reach out to less privilege in the society to celebrate yelutide season with them as Nigerians face economic hardship.
This call was made in Ado Ekiti when over thousands of pupils of different schools were giving different Christmas gifts.
Speaking with journalists the Project Manager of the organization, Moyinoluwa Ogundowole disclosed that the annual event is targeted at the vulnerable ones especially those in the rural areas.
She stated that the organization mandate believes in utilizing gifts for the good of other people and reaching out to the less privileged ones in the spirit of the Christmas season.
Also speaking the Community Mobilization of the organization, Temitope Ayodele enjoyed all Nigerians to celebrate the yuletide season in their best capacity .
Meanwhile one the principal of the school Adeyemi Moyosola, commended the effort of the organization for their initiative stating that the writing materials and other gift items will go a long way.
