The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State Council has secured the release of its arrested member, Dr. Yemi Agbeleoba from the detention of Department of state services (DSS).
Gmartnews recalled that Agbeleoba was arrested on Tuesday following allegations of incisive statements on a WhatsApp platform involving the Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), Professor Abayomi Fasina.
The EKSU ASUU Chairman, Professor Afolayan stood as surety and signed the bail bond having met the required conditions and requirements which include landed documents.
NUJ Chairman, Ekiti State Council, Kayode Babatuyi appreciated leaders of the Union and comrades for their support.
