…as 8 Local Gov’t Benefits
The Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room in collaboration with Community Life Project (CLP), a non-profit organisation launched a community development plan of 8 local Gov’t in Ekiti state on Tuesday.
The project seeks to challenge inequality and advancing social justice by empowering marginalised grassroots communities.
Addressing Newsmen in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday, the project manager, Francis Onahor disclosed the purpose for the community development plan.
“What we are doing now with the CDP is to have a strategic document that the people use to engage the state government”.
“The people have come together, they can locate resources to meet the needs of the people, the projects are projects that meets the real need of the people, so through agencies like water works, fixing boreholes in the community has been achievable. We have given them reliable Data to know that a borehole has been installed in the community”.
