NECO COMMISSIONS STATE-OF-THE-ART SCANNING MACHINE TO ENHANCE EXAMINATION PROCESS

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has taken a significant step towards improving the efficiency and security of its examination process.

The council has commissioned a brand-new Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) scanning machine, the iNSIGHT 1500c, valued at 500 million Naira.

The commissioning ceremony took place at the council’s scanning center in Minna, North Central Nigeria.

According to Professor Dantani Wushishi, the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, the new machine will significantly reduce the time it takes to scan and score candidates sheets while ensuring precision. This development is expected to enhance the overall service delivery and security of the assessment process for NECO examinations.

With the new acquisition, NECO aims to leverage cutting-edge technology to improve the examination experience for candidates and stakeholders alike.
