Miss South Africa Hopefull Quits Competition After  Identity Theft Scandal 

Chidinma Adetshina, a beauty pageant contestant for South Africa have reportedly withdrawn from a competition in South Africa following an investigation on her identity 

Chidinma made the announcement after the home affairs Ministry accused her mother of fraud and identity theft 

“After much careful consideration, i have made the difficult decision to withdraw myself from the competition for the safety and wellbeing of my family and i” the statement reads.

Adetshina have reportedly been subjected to xenophobic attacks on social media since being announced a finalist since July, with majority of the ministry’s caninet questioning her Nigerian accent.
