The newly deployed Commissioner of Police to Ekiti State, Adeniran Kunle Adewale has officially assumed office.
The CP, while addressing the media upon his arrival, promised to work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that maximum security is enjoyed across the State while imploring the good people of Ekiti State to be security conscious, vigilant and provide relevant and timely information to the Police that will assist them nip crime in the bud.

The Ekiti State Police Command wishes to inform the general public especially the good people of Ekiti State that CP. AKINWALE KUNLE ADENIRAN mni, has assumed office as the new Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State Command.
2. He is an indigene of Adesiyan Village In Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State.
3. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in HISTORY from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Oyo State in 1986.
4. CP. Akinwale Kunle Adeniran mni, was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in 1992.
5. CP. Akinwale K. Adeniran mni., in his sojourn in the force, transverse Gombe, Ondo, Cross River, Benue, Taraba and Kogi States where he held different positions to the admiration of the Public where he served.
6. He was promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in 2014 and posted to Calabar, Cross River State, as Area Commander. He was later redeployed to Benue State Police Command as Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID).
7. He was one time Deputy Commissioner of Police in-charge of the State CID, Taraba State Command.
8. He was one time Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration Zone ‘8’ Lokoja, Kogi State.
9. CP. Akinwale K. Adeniran mni., was promoted to the substantive rank of Commissioner of Police on 19th September, 2022 where he was posted to Force Headquarters Abuja as CP Safer Highway and Monitoring Unit, Department of Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
10. He was subsequently posted as the Commissioner of Police in-charge of Central Criminal Registry, Force CID Annex Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos State before his recent transfer as the Commissioner of Police in-charge of Ekiti State Police Command.
11. CP. Akinwale K. Adeniran mni., attended many capacity building courses, seminars and workshops in the service.
