The Delta State Commissioner of police, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi has declared curfew in Kwale, Ndokwa west local government area of Delta state following a cult clash between the eye and aiye confraternity group.
The clash is said to have claimed several lives as both cult groups battle for supremacy, causing tension in the community.
The CP declared a 5pm to 6am curfew as military men have been reportedly deployed to restore peace and stability to the affected area.
The CP has urged citizens to remain calm and go about their businesses, he also instructed all security personnels to ensure law and order is restored to the community.
