INTERPOL DECLARES 3 WANTED FOR FRAUD

The Federal Government has asked the International Police (Interpol) to place 3 Nigerians on the watch list over alleged forgery and Fraud. 

During investigation it was gathered that the suspects: a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Odoh Ocheme and 2 others have been declared wanted by the Interpol for allegedly forging the signature of the former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari to steal the sum of $6.2 million from the apex bank. 

Odoh Ocheme was accused of forging documents in Buhari’s name to steal $6,230,000 from CBN along with one Adamu and Imam Abubakar.

This was stated in a letter signed by Eloho Okpoziakpo, Deputy Commissioner of Police and head of Operations, Office of Special Investigator.
