The people of ado ekiti have declared every 18th of December, as Aare Afe babalola day in ado ekiti.
Speaking in ewi’s palace, ado ekiti, the state capital on Tuesday, senator babafemi ojudu said Aare Afe is a legal luminary recognized all over the world.
He noted that among other noteworthy endeavours, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), also an Ekiti State native, deserved this day for his generosity and his tremendous support to the state’s agricultural and educational sectors.
He said, “To celebrate him, Afe Babalola and his friends will be present, all oba’s and Chief’s of Ekiti state will gather at the Ewi palace. There will be a street party that will span from the post office to old garage filled with masquerades and the people of Ekiti State.”
While expressing his thanks he said “Henceforth, Ado will continue to honor its own people.”
