The House of Representatives has voted overwhelmingly in support of the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State by President Tinubu.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbass read the president’s letter during a plenary session today at the house seeking approval for the State of Emergency on Rivers state.
When it was time to put in their votes, the lawmakers overwhelmingly backed President Tinubu’s declaration, approving his decision.
