The Ekiti state governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has commissioned the new Abuad multi system hospital in Odo-Ado, Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
Speaking with journalist during the ceremony in igirigiri ,Odo Ado, area of the state , Governor appreciated the Founder, Afe Babalola University, Aare Afe Babalola, for the initiative and his developmental ideas in the state and Nigeria at large adding that Afe Babalola remains the highest tax payer in the state.
The event had in attendance political dignitaries, Royal father’s ,traditional rulers stakeholders and residents of Odo Ado area of the state.

On our part as a government, we will cooperate and support your strives to develop Ekiti State”
He aslo urged the good people of Ekiti state to desist from vandalizing the just commissioned multi system hospital.
“What Baba has done today isn’t just for himself alone, he didn’t forget his home, he didn’t forget Odo-Ado, he didn’t forget Ekiti state as a whole, hence I urge you all to see this hospital as our own, we must work together “.

The Vice Chancellor of Afebabalola University, Elisabeta Smaranda Olarinde appreciated Aare Afe Babalola, for creating the new Abuad multi system hospital.
The multi system hospital according to the vice Chancellor was built by Afe Babalola to create quality and affordable health services for the benefit of the people.
“I thank our father for building this hospital here in Odo-Ado, Ekiti state, by doing so, he has brought good health closer to the people.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Ogungbemi A.O appreciated Aare Afe babalola as she recounts her experience while using the facilities in the just commissioned hospital.
“I was here as a patient, I also came with my children and we all got excellent medical care . We bless God for the life of Baba Afe, we pray the hospital grows everyday.
Aare Afe Babalola thanked his Excellency Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for honoring the commissioning of the multipurpose hall.
“Thank you all for honoring the commissioning of this Multi purpose hospital, I am eternally grateful to God”.
The governor officially commissioned the multi system hospital.
The Ekiti state governor then presented an award to Aare Afe babalola.
The Governor was also recognized amongst others who got special awards for their undying support towards the development of the state, especially in the health sector.
