Gareth Southgate has left his role as England manager days after loosing the Euro final to Spain.
Southgate have taken the Three Lions to 2 consecutive finals which he lost- Against Italy 2022 and Against Spain 2024.
The 53-year-old managed his country for 102 games in eight years. His contract was set to expire later this year.
Southgate in statement after resigning: “As a proud Englishman, it has been the honour of my life to play for England and to manage England,”
“It has meant everything to me, and I have given it my all.
“But it’s time for change, and for a new chapter.”
