Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, together with his spouse Hafsat and six other individuals, are scheduled to appear before a Kano State High Court on Thursday.
The Charges against them centre on alleged bribery, misuse and diversion of billions of naira in finances.
The lawsuit was brought before Justice Amina Adamu Aliyu by the Kano State Government.
On June 5, the court had already given permission to serve the respondents using an alternative method.
The case’s responders consist of, Abdullahi Ganduje (1st respondent), his wife Hafsat (2nd respondent), Abubakar Bawuro (3rd respondent), Umar Abdullahi Umar (4th respondent), Jibrilla Muhammad (5th respondent), Lamash Properties Limited (6th respondent), Safari Textiles Ltd (7th respondent), and Lesage General Enterprises (8th respondent).
The sixth respondent, Lamash Properties Limited, was exclusively represented by Nuraini Jimoh (SAN) during the prior court hearing. Ganduje and the other responders were not represented.
The hearing has been set for July 11 by Justice Amina Adamu Aliyu.
