EKITI STATE MOVES TO DIVERSIFY CREATIVE ARTS AMID ECONOMIC REALITIES

Current economic realities have made it imperative for states to innovative, and Ekiti State government is taking this path by unveiling bold initiatives to foster creativity and economic growth in the state.

Speaking at a press conference in ado Ekiti, the Commissioner for Arts and Culture, Professor Ojo Bakare said the governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has approved talent development programme and immediate implementation of economic development of the creative arts businesses. 

 An  endowment fund programme has also been launched to enhance skills of emerging talents in all the creative arts sector.

Bakare explained that the groundbreaking initiative is aimed at nurturing talents, promoting cultural heritage, and  stimulating economic development in Ekiti state.
