The body of Mr Taiwo Olugbaye who was killed few months ago by kidnapers in emure ekiti has been found.
The body which was found by a local cassava farmer deep inside the reserved area of Eporo forest was identified by the daughter through the father’s boxers, his favorite clothe and a silver ring on her father’s left hand finger.
Mr Taiwo Olugbaye was the apostolic faith Montessori school driver, emure ekiti who was kidnapped alongside with five pupils and four teachers in emure ekiti on January 29, 2024.
Responding to the development, Tosin Olugbaye, the daughter of late Taiwo Olugbaye said discovery of her father’s body has given the children and entire family opportunity of a proper burial arrangements of their father.
While reacting to the death of her father, Tosin Olugbaye who happens to be the first daughter said she is grateful to the state government and the security agencies for their efforts towards the discovery of her father’s body.
“When I saw the corpse, I realized there is nothing in this life, everything is vanity upon vanity”.
When the chairman told me about the discovery of my dad’s body, it came as a shock to me.
Sunday Abutu, the Ekiti state PPRO who disclosed that it was a farmer who notified the command about the discovery.
