The Kano State Government has accused the Nigerian Police of Raising a false alarm to prevent a Maulud event organized under the Leadership of the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Wayya, disclosed this during a Press briefing at the Emir’s Palace in Kano.
According to him, the Nigerian Police have also issued a statement denying members of the Tijjaniyya sect access to The Kofar Mata Stadium.
He added that members of the sect would hold their maulud despite the police order
