34 protesters have been remanded by a Katsina Magistrates court in the state’s correctional center on Tuesday for violent agitation.
Their lawyers, under the auspices of Lawyers for Rule of Law and Human Rights led by MM Lawal, and DD Sani, said they were remanded because they were charged with offences only bailable at the High Court.
Meanwhile, 30 other agitators have been granted bail at different Magistrates courts in the state, as at the press time of filing this report.
