French International and new Real Madrid signing Kylian Mbappe have reportedly bought majority of shares of French league 2 side, SM Caen, acquiring over 80% of the club’s ownership shares
Everything has been signed, according to reports coming from “L’Équipé” as Kylian will become the new owner of the Ligue 2 side
The 25 year old Real Madrid star becomes club owner via Coalition Capital for Caen. The deal would reportedly see Mbappe buy out the American investment fund Oaktree Capital, which bought an 80 per cent stake in the club in 2020.
Mbappe would become the club’s majority shareholder, with current supervisory board chairman Pierre Antoine Capton retaining his 20 per cent stake.
